dog toy?
Looks like a dog toy. We thought it was much bigger than it actually is. The rubber is not the softest and the ratteler inside could get annoying. Not as bendy as we thought. For the price it was not worth it...but at least i can give it to the dog...cheaper than buying a dog toy. :2010-09-18 18:13:13

Is it a dog toy?
Thats the same exact question my husband had when I finally received it. Even though he had his doubts about it I still tried to give it to my 3 month old to play with. He has no interest in it whatsoever. He doesnt even try to grasp for it. I thought it would be a good tummy time toy but he rather play with his hands and rattles. I also have my doubts about the openings around the yellow band behind the caterpillar. As some reviewers had mentioned before it looks like little fingers can easily get stuck between the opening and the band. Its very hard to tell in the pictures but its a concern. :2010-09-18 18:13:13

Great for my 3month old!
I was hesitant to get this toy from my almost 3month old because I didnt think she would grab it or enjoy it. But I handed it to her and she grabbed on to it with both hands! She will be 3months soon and she already knows how to switch toys from one hand to the other and I think this toy helped in that process. She loves to grip it with both hands and bring it to her mouth.

The little holes next to the caterpillar are concerning though. Her fingers do fit in the holes and look like they could possible get stuck... :2010-09-18 18:13:13
